Oakville, ON, DECEMBER 22, 2021 – To assist those directly impacted by the B.C. floods, The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board is donating $2,000 to CREA’s REALTORS Care fundraising campaign which supports the Canadian Red Cross’ humanitarian efforts. With British Columbia having been recently affected by the worst flooding and landslides it has seen in a century, major transportation routes and entire communities are under water. People have lost their homes, businesses have been destroyed, and essential supplies are limited due to the disruption of transportation. People need our help – including fellow REALTORS belonging to the Canadian Real Estate Association.
The Canadian Red Cross is working to get help to people in and around affected areas as quickly as possible and provide humanitarian assistance for new needs as they arise. Money raised will enable the Red Cross to carry out relief, recovery, resiliency and risk reduction activities in and beyond the region at the individual and community levels.

OMDREB is proud to help our friends at CREA with their REALTORS Care fundraising effort. We wish for a speedy recovery effort for all of the communities that have been devastated and know that every little bit of support counts.
